before i forget...

I love the things your children say...so I hope you're all writing them down. SOme of your blogs have lots of them and they make us laugh and cry - thanks for sharing so many little moments with the rest of the family.

I just wanted to write down something Abi said a while back (she lives at my house now so I get to hear LOTS of funny stuff).

She said "My brother is an alien dog cause when dogs come up to him he makes noises at them ... like when he first saw Nui"
WHAT? an alien dog?

Later she said "One time I lived in St. Georgia and my Uncle Haffen said I could take an egg and hatch it. I saw one hatch and I called him Chocolate Butterscotch & Brightly. Big chickens will peck you...peck peck!" (as she uses her finger to peck my arm)

Then she's telling me that she was born in Africa and that her parents were married there! OKAY!

Blessing Daven & Flaaridah or bust!

Here's a brief rundown of June...way too many pictures to post...go see them all at our family Shutterfly account!

Sorry Ruby...

You all know how we make fun of Robin 'cause she went to Pinacle High School...well, just this morning she did it again! She was telling me about Jackie having a sore throat and how she told her to take some of the herbal medicine she'd left in her bathroom cabinet...and how in 20 minutes Jackie was much better! Robin said, yeah, she nipped it in the butt! I started laughing and said, you mean nipped it in the "bud"...she said "what's a BUD?" OMH! Mike overheard me on the phone and knew exactly what was being said...he just about fell head-first into the toilet he was cleaning!
But hey, she's so dang cute...who cares!

'mid April showers...

The biggest and bestest news of all time was the announcement that Baby Eli was coming to our family! I gave Jackson his 30 year old blessing suit and his first "puppy" - along with all the little things I've been saving for the day he became a Daddy! Allison...you have made this lady VERY happy! Way to go!

Ronnie dropped by overnight with Bethany's family enroute to Rocky Point - Beth is having twins!! I think I should have been in Mexico to take care of her tummy!

Steele & Amy came to spend the night with the kids since their house had been burglared that night - so we had a full house!

I can't remember how she got so dirty, but Abi needed a quick dunk in the laundry sink - she liked her mini hot tub!
When we came home from CO we discovered that Amy had driven to SG all by herself - no no Amy...you must wait for Mimi next time!

Isn't this the dearest...Elliot made this all by himself - Jill is blessed indeed!!

Here's Jill & Elliot in Colorado Springs - Mel went with us to attend their awesome baptisms on Sunday April 25 at 7pm!

This event produced feelings similar to the ones we experienced when J & A announced baby Eli!

A MIRACLE!!
Mel posted tons...so read there for the wonderful details.

Daven Michael Hallows 25 April 2010

No less a miracle is baby Daven - He was born 30 minutes before the baptism - We got to hear his first cries over the phone! Congratulations darlings! I got to snuggle him on Tues right before he went home to live with his lucky family!
